If the professionals and tradespersons listed below carry out work for a consumer (as opposed to a business customer) the contract between the trader and the consumer is likely to be an “off-premises” contract under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. (“Off-premises” selling is also known as “doorstep” selling.) The “Home” versions of these documents therefore include provisions to help traders comply with the doorstep regulations.
