These Holiday Lettings Agency Terms & Conditions documents are for use by lettings agencies dealing with holiday homes where owners do not have the time or specialist knowledge required to manage bookings themselves and instead appoint an agency to market the property, handle bookings and in some cases manage the property on their behalf.
The documents are professionally drafted and easy to use. They include terms and conditions and appointment forms which, when used together, create a contract between the owner and the agent. There are two versions - one for a “fully managed” service, where the agent deals with repair and maintenance of the property as well as marketing and bookings, and also “marketing and letting only” service.
The terms and conditions and appointment forms can be placed on the agent's website but a hard copy must also be supplied to owners. An agency contract is formed by an owner completing and signing the appropriate appointment form, confirming acceptance of the relevant set of terms and conditions.
